It is with great honor, that the New Mexico Counseling Association presents this year’s George L. Kepper Outstanding Counselor of the Year Award to Kate Bunch.
Kate Bunch is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico. She is also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Endorsed Infant Mental Health provider (IMHE-III). She is currently working towards completing her EMDR certification. Kate is a member of the New Mexico Association for Play Therapy, the New Mexico Association of Infant Mental Health and the Association to Prevent Sexual Harm by Youth. Kate founded Trauma Treatment Center in Rio Rancho in 2017 and is focused on growing the trauma treatment field through continued research and advocacy. She is the mother of two young boys and spends her free time devoted to them!
